going to rasa sentosa for new yr's eve ball ltr!

anyway, gonna blog abt my korea trip!
it was cold (was told it's the coldest in 12 yrs!), and very dry, unlike hot and humid sg.
nails broke, body was itching like crazy till i couldn't tk it and removed my long johns, prancing arnd in temperatures below 0 deg celsius in just a cotton long sleeve, down jacket, and sometimes a scarf. wo shi li hai de! blame it on my super sensitive skin lar, can't even not itch in top grade long johns and even when the long johns are worn OUTSIDE instead of being at the innermost layer.
part (i)
day 1
landed at incheon airport at bloody dawn. was welcomed with a temperature of -2. survived wif 2 short naps on the bus. i reckon total hrs i was aslp that day did not exceed 3hrs cuz i just couldn't get to slp on the plane, and only managed to nap when i got onto the bus.
dunking donuts for my breakfast bought at the airport!
this is the best!

at everland, this themepark + zoo + bird park on the mountain.
i saw snow for the bloody first time in my entire life!
smelly!
daddy said that her kou zhao looks like undies.
ahaha.

we took a bus which goes into the safari enclosure and saw animals which are trained to wave to u, clap their paws etc. too commercialised, i think.
the tiger and lion produced a liger too.
a first for mi, i think.
smelly warming herself up at this place which is like a fireplace. it's filled wif coals and emits smoke and heat.
it's "meditating"!
the pair of birds on the left were kissing!
big ass.
they've parades which are quite big-scale twice a day, complete wif floats, bubble foams, everything.
put ur hands up to receive some heat!
stayed at yong pyong resort, one of the shooting sites for winter sonata.
smelly was known as fei yong jun, and was teased that she's gonna be 48-48-48 when she comes back to sg.
day 2
on the way to have our breakfast.
up on dragon peak, wif the wind howling and snow falling like nobody's biz.
temperature was approx -12 to -15.
we'd to tk a cable car up to the top of the mountain and when we came out of the cable car, it was like, super cold lar!
smelly wanted to build a snowman, i made her a giant ice kacang w/out the kacang instead.
buried her in the snow and she was thrilled!
didn't tk much pics cuz i was freezing and it's a chore holding the camera wif thick gloves.
smelly was so so happy.
went skiing for the very first time and i did not fall!
had a hard time getting up the slope though.
spent more than 10mins huffing and puffing up, and it's all ovr in less than a min when i descend.
part of the toilet bowl back in the hotel rm!
we checked out, returned all the skiing stuff and went to out next destination, waterpia resort.
5mins walk to the hotspring area.
it's divided into 2 parts, one for females/males only and an unisex area.
u've to go in the nude in the females/males only area.
being prudes, smelly and i went to the unisex area wif our bathing suits on. they've all sorts of pools there, indoors and outdoors. the wave one (similar to the jurong east one), warm bubbly pools, etc. smelly dragged mi to the outdoor pool. it was super cold at first but once u've adapted to the temperature, it's actually quite a gd experience! imagine ur body submerged in the pool at normal temperature and wif ur head out of the water, u cn feel the cold wind and see snow. there's this ginseng pool which i totally love! woohoo.
went to shower thereaft and it was certainly an eye-opened, seeing ppl walk arnd the toilet w/out any clothes, wif no hint of any self-consciousness.
and there's this thing like a dryer which wrings ur bathing suits dry in 10sec!
day 3
smelly finished her breakfast in record time and rushed out to play wif snow.
went up to mt sorak. it was snowing heavily and they actually cordoned the area off the previous day cuz it wasn't safe to go up there.
we walked in a single file, like ants, to the cable car station cuz there was simply too much snow and they didn't manage to clear all the snow.

smelly went crazy while walking back.
she deliberately fell into the thick blanket of snow a few times, claiming that it's very shuang.
