hello world,
it's five-oh-five in the morning now and i still can't get to slp.
oh well, i think i'm nearly done sorting out the pics for the europe trip.
shall do DAY ONE first.
on the 23rd, family + bb were at changi airport to send mi off to rome. an approx 13hrs flight, i think i did quite ok, slept abt 4, 5hrs?

aft arriving at rome, we went to the vatican city first, the smallest but one of the richest independent city on earth.

look at the number of ppl in the queue to go in!

the swiss army guards.
check out their uniform yo.
designed by micheal angealo (sp?) a couple of decades ago.

set off for the colosseum thereaft, where gladiators of yesteryears, way before the emergence of WWF/WWE, fought to amuse, to entertain the public.

ancient ruins.

stinky horse.

this leads to rome's mrt.

gotta purchase a tix first before getting on the transport.

the streets of europe are literally parallel-parked with cars.
most are hatchbacks, and the cars are usually parked w/out their handbrakes pulled up so that if another car has the need to squeeze into any space available, the car can be edged to the front.

italian lunch.

gelato loving!

roasted chestnuts for u?

ultra cute public bus.

BATA in rome?

goodbye day one!
